Vintage NYC Subway Token Necklace

Vintage NYC token “Y-token” necklace from 1953.  Authentic tokens pulled from circulation and now part of the history of our great city !  

These were the first tokens issues by the MTA when the cost of a ride was 15 cents.  

An AWESOME heirloom type necklace that you can pass to friends and generations to come.  Tokens are made of brass alloys, they patina to almost a brown in color but can be polished shiny.  We clean them up a bit but most retain their vintage look.   

Tokens are about the size of a dime.
